Career History
Paralegal at Harcourt Stirling Solicitors (April 2024 – present)
Chinonye recently secured a settlement exceeding £10,000 for a client who sustained a fractured wrist and auxiliary injuries due to a raised pavement. By meticulously gathering extensive medical evidence and documentation, she successfully negotiated a settlement that fully accounted for the client’s injuries and recovery.
Paralegal at CLP Solicitors (May 2022 – March 2024)
Chinonye contributed to several high-profile matters, most notably a gross negligence manslaughter case involving the tragic death of a client’s child (see: R v Marten and Gordon, 2025). Throughout the trial at the Central Criminal Court, she provided essential support by liaising with Counsel and expert witnesses, while consistently managing client instructions from custody.
She also assisted on a high-stakes case involving an extradition request to Slovakia regarding fraud allegations. She maintained constant communication with the client, their family, and Counsel to build a robust objection. Ultimately, the challenge was successful, and the client was permitted to remain in the UK.
Education & Qualifications
Chinonye graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Laws – LLB in 2021.
